Beauty. This is a very powerful poem.

I saw another kind of woman with bobbed hair today at the U of Hawaii, Hilo, campus: Cindy Sheehan. She came to this place that no one comes to ordinarily, it's so out of the way. Her naturalness is her genius. She had me in tears, a hard case like me. Everyone is so worried about what Bush is going to do.
I'm discouraged, like all the fight has gone out of me. I hope this is a temporary condition. She says we have to resist non-violently, but I don't know if I have the will. And she has to be in court on Wednesday. I wonder if she'll end up in prison. I feel very fucked up at this point.
